TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated September 23, 2026

These terms cover your use of SapphireSportz (the website, the iPhone and Android apps, and the Discord bot together). Using any of them means you agree to them. They're written in plain language on purpose — read them.

SapphireSportz is operated by Strategic International Consulting Services LLC. "We", "us" and "SapphireSportz" in these terms mean that company.

1. What SapphireSportz is

SapphireSportz is a league-management platform for Madden and NBA 2K franchise leagues run on Discord: standings, rosters, stats, an in-league economy, and a Discord bot that keeps a server in sync with it. SapphireSportz is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts, 2K Sports, Take-Two Interactive, or Discord Inc. Madden NFL, NBA 2K, and Discord are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Your account

You sign in with Discord. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your Discord credentials secure. One person, one account — don't share logins or run automated tools against your own account to do things a person clicking around wouldn't do.

3. Subscriptions and payment

A league gets a 30-day free trial. After that, keeping a league's data updating starts at $4.49/month for one league — bundles covering more leagues, annual pricing, and a capped lifetime option are all on the pricing page, which is the one place this changes when it changes. Billing runs through Stripe — SapphireSportz never sees or stores your card details. If a subscription lapses, the league gets a 14-day grace period before it goes read-only: new data stops arriving, but nothing already recorded — standings, rosters, stats, seasons played — is ever hidden or deleted. You can cancel at any time; a cancellation stops future billing and does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law.

4. Acceptable use

League data is public to read by design — a stranger should be able to look through a league's standings before deciding to join it. That's an invitation to browse it, not to take it wholesale. You may not:

  • scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically extract data from SapphireSportz in bulk, including through the API, CSV, or Neon- compatibility endpoints, beyond the rate limits those endpoints enforce;
  • use SapphireSportz's data, design, or structure to build a competing product or service;
  • attempt to bypass, disable, or overwhelm any rate limit, key requirement, or other access control on the site;
  • send anything to the Companion App export endpoint other than a genuine Madden Companion App export;
  • impersonate another person, league, or Discord server, or interfere with another league's use of the service;
  • use the service for anything illegal, or that violates Discord's own Terms of Service.

A league's own rules (trade deadlines, conduct, who's allowed to play) are set and enforced by that league's commissioner, not by these Terms.

5. Ownership

SapphireSportz's code, design, and the way it organizes and presents league data belong to SapphireSportz. Player names, team names, and other in-game content originate from Madden NFL and NBA 2K and remain the property of their respective publishers. You keep ownership of anything you post (messages, trade notes, and so on) and grant SapphireSportz the license needed to display it back to your league.

6. No warranty

SapphireSportz is provided as-is. We work to keep stats accurate and the site up, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, that every stat will be perfectly accurate the moment a game exports, or that the site will be error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SapphireSportz isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid SapphireSportz in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

We can suspend or terminate access to an account or league that violates these terms — including the acceptable-use section above — without a refund of the current billing period. You can stop using the service at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version, and a meaningful change gets a mention in the changelog. Continuing to use SapphireSportz after a change means you accept the update.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms go through the same place everything else does — your league's Discord support channel, or the support link in the site footer.
