SAPPHIRESPORTZ
EVERYTHING IT DOES
A Madden franchise league runs on a spreadsheet, three group chats and one person's memory. This replaces all of it — your Companion export lands and the standings, the ratings, the trade values, the recaps and the money all move by themselves.
What's new Updating the app Back to the league
🚪

GETTING IN, OR GETTING STARTED

The part that used to take a week of messages.
Every league on the platform that is recruiting, with its platform, its style, how often it advances and how many seats are actually open — from their own export, not from a post.
One command to take a team
Run /link in the league's Discord and pick from the free teams. Four seconds, no application, nobody to wait on.
Point the Companion App at it and the whole site fills in — standings, rosters, ratings, recaps, the lot.
Ready-made classes and the setup guides, free.
How you left your last league follows you, so a commissioner knows who he is letting in.
🏈

THE LEAGUE, LIVE

Your Companion export lands and the whole site moves. Nobody types a standing in.
Straight off the export, every week, including ties and division order done the way Madden does it.
Who is in, who is in the hunt, and the seeding as it stands — recalculated the moment a result lands.
Who is hurt, how long for, and which teams it actually costs.
Any two teams, every game they have played, all time.
Everything the league has done lately in one feed.
The wire
The ticker across the top of every page: finals, moves, what is on the block, who just got paid.
🎙️

THE BOOTH

A beat writer files a recap on every game, and a room of broadcasters argues about it underneath.
Written the moment the result lands, from that game's own numbers — never a template with the names swapped.
The thread underneath it
Three voices with different jobs, each having read the ones above, so they disagree rather than agree at three different lengths.
The analyst reads the ratings. The superfan does not — he reacts, and only quotes a stat line when it is extreme enough that you would have noticed from the sofa. The old-timer complains about the play-calling, with the split to prove it.
Nothing invented, ever
Every number in every recap is checked against the game's own facts before it is published. A sentence that cannot be verified is thrown away and the writer says less.
Commissioners build the broadcasters: name, face, archetype, tone — and a superfan who supports one of your teams.
📣

THE ROOM

A league is people arguing. Most of this is the arguing.
League chat
Docked in the corner or floating, on every page, so a conversation does not need a second app.
Direct messages
One member to another, on the site, without swapping handles.
Who is around, who has gone quiet, and who to chase before the advance.
Ask the league something and have the answer recorded, rather than counting reactions in a channel.
Members post as their franchise — trash talk, press releases, signings. The booth reads them and reacts.
Watch a stream together with the league beside it.
The week cut down to the clips worth seeing.
🔴

STREAMING

When somebody goes live, the league knows — and can be paid for it.
A getting-started checklist, a rotating weekly challenge, the real Twitch Affiliate/Partner and YouTube Partner numbers, and free tools to get set up.
Twitch is watched for you: the moment a member goes live on Madden, the league gets a notification and Discord gets a post.
Twitch clips from the league's own streams, collected where people will see them.
🤝

TRADING

The busiest thing in any league, with the arguing taken out of it.
Build an offer from real rosters and real picks, priced as you go, with both totals on screen so nobody needs a calculator.
Who is available, what they want back, and who is asking.
Commissioner approval, a league vote, or automatic inside limits you set — including hard limits that stop a lopsided deal being submitted at all.
Every pick is tracked through every deal, so the board always says who really owns what.
🎟️

THE BOOK, AND THE EXCHANGE

Two different things: fixed-price props, and a market whose price moves because somebody bet.
Player props and game lines built by the commissioner, each at its own odds: straight bets, parlays, or Flex, which still pays with a miss.
Markets on the MVP and the Super Bowl. A price is a chance — 34¢ means 34% — and every bet moves the line. Sell out whenever you like.
The same props as a single priced bet, alongside the parlay rather than instead of it.
Replacement level measured from your league rather than guessed, and a price on every man in it.
Slots, roulette and blackjack on the same paytables as the bot, settled through the same bank.
🏦

THE ECONOMY

Money that means something, because it is scarce and it is tracked.
Cash, the bank, and every transaction that moved either.
Loans with real terms, a credit score built from how you have repaid, and a commissioner who approves them.
XP for taking part — playing, posting, trading. Deliberately nothing to grind.
Badges derived from what you have actually done, not from a counter somebody could farm.
One free go a day. The printed odds are the real odds.
Things a commissioner puts up and members buy with league money.
📊

NUMBERS YOU CANNOT GET ANYWHERE ELSE

Not the box score again — the numbers that say who is actually good.
SRS, strength of schedule and margin, opponent-adjusted, so beating a good team by 3 counts for more than beating a bad one by 20.
Efficiency by unit, adjusted for who each team has played.
Who is rising and who is falling, week to week, with the history behind every attribute.
What this week's opponent does well, badly, and what has beaten them.
Season and all-time, with the marks that are on pace to fall.
Passing, rushing, receiving, defense, kicking, punting.
🎓

THE DRAFT

Classes, boards and a room that runs itself.
Every prospect with grades, archetypes and comps — revealed in stages if the commissioner wants scouting to mean something.
Rank them yourself. Nobody else sees it.
Runs off the live projected order, not last season's.
Ready-made classes, or upload your own.
🏆

FANTASY, INSIDE YOUR FRANCHISE

A fantasy league whose players are the men in YOUR league.
Full PPR scoring computed from your league's own weekly stats.
A live room with a clock, a queue and your own draft board.
Claims, priority, and a commissioner who can settle them.
🤖

THE DISCORD BOT

The site decides, the bot delivers. One command to join, and everything else follows.
/link — one command to take a team
A dropdown of the free teams. Four seconds, no application, nobody to wait on.
/welcome — the card you pin
A commissioner posts it once; everybody after that knows how to get in.
Recaps, scores and the wire in Discord
Every result, trade, signing and payout routed to whichever channel you choose.
Game channels and scheduling
Members tagged in their own game channels, whether or not they ever open the website.
Props, bets and the economy from Discord
The same money, the same tables, the same cooldowns as the site — they cannot be double-dipped.
/assign — seat somebody without the website
For the member who joined for the Madden and will never open a browser. He still gets tagged in his own game channel.
/commish — hand the league over
@mention the new commissioner. No user ids, no forms.
/streamer — link somebody's Twitch
Same idea: @mention them and paste the channel.
/open-teams — what a recruit is inheriting
Not just which seats are free — what each team is good at, what it needs, who it traded away, and a button that shows the roster privately.
🏀

NBA 2K LEAGUES

The same platform, playing basketball. New, and honest about where it is.
Every player, with their real 2K attributes
Eleven hundred players — the current thirty rosters and all thirty all-time teams — each with their full attribute set. Collected once and held here, so the league does not depend on anybody else's website staying up.
Real rosters, retros, or a draft
Fill every team from its own roster in one click, fill them from the all-time squads instead, or leave them empty and assign players from a search bar.
A season, generated
2K has no export, so the fixtures are made here: every team plays once a week, which is what the game channels, the advance deadline and roll call already expect.
The box score, from a screenshot
Play the game, post the picture. It is read into real numbers, and your OPPONENT confirms it before any of it counts — not the commissioner, who would be approving fifteen a week by November.
File it from Discord, where the screenshot already is
/box-2k with the screenshot attached, or a Twitch clip link that shows the box score. Confirm and Wrong are buttons under the card, so the whole thing happens where your league already is. The picture is never stored — it is read and dropped.
Half each, which is how the console shows it anyway
A 2K box score is one team per screen, so both of you shoot your own. Two halves from two people IS the confirmation — nobody typed the other man's numbers and nobody can move the result alone. Send several pictures at once if you have them.
Money for filing it
Set what the league pays somebody for sending their half. Paid once a game, to each person who filed one. Off until you turn it on. The whole thing depends on somebody bothering after a game they just lost.
Set the league up in one press
Makes it a 2K league, puts the thirty franchises in, fills every roster and generates the season — and tells you what it did. Four buttons in the right order, so a commissioner who does three of them and stops does not end up with a broken league.
A game that announces itself
When both owners in a fixture go live, the league is told and the game is on the board while it is being played. When the stream ends and no result has been filed, the two of them get asked — once, a quarter of an hour later, not the moment they sign off.
Numbers that are checked against themselves
Makes cannot exceed attempts, rebounds have to add up, and the shooting line has to come to the points. A misread is caught by arithmetic before anybody is asked to look at it — and a seventy-point game is still allowed, because it is rare rather than impossible.
Standings, ratings and leaders that follow
Records, streaks, conference seeds, points for and against, SRS and six leader boards, all computed from the games your league actually played.
A real 82-game season
The actual NBA formula — four games against each division rival, twenty-four against six of your conference, twelve against the other four, two against everybody in the other conference. Forty-one at home, and a five-year rotation deciding who you only see three times. Or paste the real schedule in for year one, which is what 2K itself does.
A recap on every game here too
Written from the box score by the same beat writer, checked by the same fact checker, in the same voices, on the same wire. A number that is not in the game does not get printed.
A bracket you run yourself
Seeded from the table so nobody retypes sixteen names, and every result after that typed by an admin. Any series length, any slot overridable — it will never overwrite something a person put in.

BEYOND YOUR LEAGUE

Every league on the platform, and the things that only work when there are lots of them.
The Network
A platform-wide feed — the biggest results, trades and moments from every league that opts in.
How you left your last league is visible to the next commissioner, so somebody who dumps a roster cannot do it quietly four times.
The GOAT League
Platform-wide events where leagues put a player forward and everybody votes.
Ask for help and have it tracked, rather than hoping a message gets seen.
📲

ON YOUR PHONE

Install it and it behaves like an app, because it is one.
iPhone and Android. No store, no download, no account beyond the Discord one you already have.
Your game is up, your trade was answered, your team just got mentioned.
It works offline
The last version of a page you opened is still there on a bad connection.
WHAT'S NEW
The site updates itself — there is nothing to download. Unless your phone is being stubborn.
MAJOR
Wager War minimums, and automatic wars
October 5, 2026 · build 616
  • Commissioners can set minimums for Wager Wars, and can make every Game of the Week, every playoff game and the Super Bowl a Wager War automatically.
MAJOR
GIFs, photos and videos in chat
October 5, 2026 · build 615
  • GIFs are back for real: tap GIF in any chat to search and send. Photos and videos now go straight into chat — how long your videos can be depends on your league's plan.
MAJOR
Chat is a command center
October 5, 2026 · build 614
  • Chat is now a full command center: every game gets its own channel to set the time, Trade Talk has the trade block built in, and you can rob, hustle, bet, poll, check stats and more right from the chat box — with replies, reactions, photos and live game cards.
MAJOR
Rob, on the site and in the app
October 5, 2026 · build 613
  • Rob is on the website and the app, playing by your league's own rules. Discord and the app now share one set of hustle cooldowns, so every run counts the same wherever you make it.
MAJOR
Item limits you can count on
October 5, 2026 · build 612
  • Commissioners can give each store item its own limits — which ratings it can raise, how many points, and how high — and the site holds every request to them. The item's card says what it allows.
MAJOR
Live betting only for this league's games
October 5, 2026 · build 611
  • Live betting only switches on for a stream that's really this league's game: if your league has an acronym, the stream title has to carry it. A commissioner taking a game off live now stays off.
MAJOR
Your Discord, your commands
October 5, 2026 · build 610
  • Commissioners can choose which bot sections show up in their Discord, and each server now only sees the commands for its own game.
MAJOR
Stats and ratings in Discord
October 5, 2026 · build 609
  • The Discord bot can now look up stats and MLB The Show / UFC 6 ratings.
MAJOR
Team crests in the store
October 5, 2026 · build 608
  • Every Madden league's store now sells team crests — any team's, so you can wear your favourite even if it isn't in your league. The tier you can buy follows your prestige. Crests you earn are still yours as before.
MAJOR
Fair play, everywhere else
October 5, 2026 · build 607
  • Reports, votes and the Arcade are harder to game.
MAJOR
A staff log everyone on staff can see
October 5, 2026 · build 606
  • Every commissioner action is now on a staff log your whole staff can see. Commissioners can change the export link, and you can sign out of every device at once.
MAJOR
Staff stay out of their own deals
October 5, 2026 · build 605
  • Commissioners and co-commissioners can no longer approve their own trades, upgrades, loans or bet voids. The lead commissioner can, and it's recorded.
MAJOR
Fair play, tightened
October 5, 2026 · build 604
  • Tighter rules on bets, box scores, upgrades and trades — bets close when a final is in, upgrade points and items can't be spent twice, and results can't be changed without the commissioner.
MAJOR
UFC 6 ratings are back
October 5, 2026 · build 603
  • UFC 6 ratings load again after EA moved its ratings pages.
MAJOR
Chat is one tab
October 5, 2026 · build 602
  • Chat is now one tab. It opens right into your league's channels — tap a channel along the top to switch, or open the full list for every league, your DMs and the Network.
  • On 2K progression, your league's upgrade rules now sit right above Send to the desk, so you know the limits before you ask.
MAJOR
The 2K upgrade desk shows the right numbers
October 5, 2026 · build 601
  • In 2K leagues, the upgrade desk now shows each rating's real current number and the number to set in the 2K menu. It used to show 0.
  • The desk speaks 2K in 2K leagues: "✓ Done in 2K", with no mention of Madden or exports.
MAJOR
Height counts in player value
October 5, 2026 · build 600
  • Height now counts in player value — taller corners are worth more in Madden leagues, and every 2K player is valued against his position's height. Commissioners can tune both.
MAJOR
Simmed games push every bet
October 5, 2026 · build 599
  • Bets on simmed and forfeited games now push: you get your stake back. That covers the Book, the 2K book, Wager Wars and the Exchange's game markets.
  • A parlay with a leg on a simmed game pays on the rest of its legs, the same as any other push.
  • Book results wait for the commish to confirm each game before paying out. Until then your ticket says "Waiting for the result to be confirmed" and the latest time it will settle.
  • A game settles once the commish rules it, or once the league advances. Otherwise it settles 7 days after the final (24 hours in 2K). The commish can also hit "Settle now" or "Clear bets".
  • Once a game's bets have paid out, a later ruling doesn't change them.
MAJOR
Player cards in chat
October 5, 2026 · build 598
  • Share player cards in league chat: type # and a couple of letters, or hit Discuss on any player.
  • A card always shows the player's ratings as they are right now. Tap it to open his page.
  • You can send cards in direct messages too, when you're both in that player's league.
  • The room tabs in the chat window no longer get covered when a room is busy.
  • Messages from your commissioner, or from someone who has left, show their name instead of "someone".
MAJOR
Buttons wear your league's colours
October 5, 2026 · build 597
  • Buttons and controls now wear your league's colours: buttons, the chat bubble, progress bars, the tour's buttons and, in the app, the slide-to-confirm knob and your team's markers.
  • On a light league colour like gold, button text turns dark so it stays easy to read.
  • Leagues that never changed their colours look exactly the same as before.
KEEPING YOUR APP CURRENT
Almost always: nothing. Pages come straight off the server every time you open one, so a new feature is there the moment you look. What can lag a version behind is the app's own scripts — those are kept on your phone so it opens instantly, and they refresh in the background for the next time you open it. So one close-and-reopen is the whole fix, and the site tells you when it spots that your tab is behind.

📱 iPHONE & iPAD

  1. Swipe up from the bottom and hold (or double-press Home), then swipe the SapphireSportz card away. Closing it properly is the step people skip — tapping the side button only hides it.
  2. Open it again from the home screen. That is normally it.
  3. Still behind? Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data, search for sapphiresportz, swipe it away, then reopen the app. Nothing is lost — you stay signed in through Discord.
If the app's name or icon changed, iOS only picks that up on a fresh install: delete the icon, open sapphiresportz.gg in Safari and add it to the home screen again.

🤖 ANDROID

  1. Open the recent-apps view and swipe SapphireSportz away, then open it again from your home screen.
  2. Chrome checks for a new version each time the app launches, so this is usually enough on its own.
  3. Still behind? Settings → Apps → SapphireSportz → Storage → Clear cache (clear cache, not data), then reopen.
Android reinstalls the app shortcut by itself when the name or icon changes — it just needs you to open the app once for it to notice.

💻 A BROWSER TAB

  1. A normal refresh is enough almost every time.
  2. A hard one, if it is not: Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, ⌘+Shift+R on a Mac.
A tab left open for days will tell you itself when the server has moved on — a bar appears at the top with a Reload button on it.
